Premco Inc. is an established electric motor repair and service company with a history that goes back to 1917. Our original charter as the Post Road Electric provided custom repairs of small motors, appliances and related items of equipment.

Premco is now an ISO 9001-certified service, sales, and repair company that specializes in repairing or rebuilding a wide range of industrial motors ranging in size from fractional to 3500kw. We can keep existing systems running smoothly or designs innovative, energy-efficient upgrades to older systems.

Premco sells and installs the latest models of motors, pumps, fans, and compressors from a variety of major manufacturers while maintaining the ability to repair even discounted items of equipment.

Premco offers full-service repairs as well as predictive & preventive maintenance for AC/DC Electric Motors, Generators, Variable Frequency Drives, Custom Transformer, Exhaust Fans, Pumps, Refrigeration Systems and Industrial HVAC Compressors and Controls for commercial and industrial markets. We are particularly proud of the modification we designed for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems that will make them more efficient and cheaper to run.

Premco owns over 16,500 sq.ft. of shop space equipped with two 8-ton overhead cranes as well as lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, winders, test equipment, ovens, VPI systems, welding machines, and dynamic balance equipment, giving us a wide range of repair and machining capabilities.
